VEROOT began in the field—not in a business plan.
My connection to Korean wellness started long before the company itself. Growing up surrounded by tea culture and ceramics, wellness was never a trend to me—it was simply a way of life. Studying Classical Chinese and Eastern philosophy deepened that perspective, shaping a belief that the things we bring into our bodies and our spaces should carry meaning.
That belief became practice when I ran my own plant shop in Seoul, sourcing directly from growers and learning firsthand what it takes to guarantee quality and traceability—lessons I later carried into product development and supplier sourcing for hospitality and lifestyle brands in Korea.
Before launching VEROOT, I spent months visiting London's leading retailers, cafés, hotels, and wellness spaces to understand the market firsthand. One thing quickly became clear: while Japanese matcha was everywhere, premium Korean matcha was almost nowhere to be found.
VEROOT was created to bridge that gap.
Today, I connect European buyers directly with trusted Korean producers, sourcing certified organic matcha from Jeju Island alongside carefully selected Korean wellness products.
From sourcing and supplier communication to export coordination and logistics, we manage the process end to end—working closely with trusted partners to ensure a smooth and reliable supply chain.
